Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway has denied that her boss had his Twitter rights recently revoked by their shared staff.
“The New York Times reports that his campaign staff actually wrested his Twitter account from him,” Savannah Guthrie posed to Conway on Monday’s “Today” show, “[and] basically said, ‘You’re not going to tweet for yourself anymore.’ Is that true?”
“No, it’s not true,” Conway replied after a laugh. She’s not the only one cracking up over the notion — click here to see President Obama clown Trump over the idea.
Conway then instantly changed the subject. Guess what the rest of the segment became? You got it, her ripping Hillary Clinton.
“It’s a little late for either campaign to claim the high ground,” Matt Lauer stepped in. “One more day, Kelly.”
Lauer seemed about as tired of all this as the rest of us.
