“Sons of Anarchy” star Katey Sagal has joined the cast of ABC’s “Dirty Dancing” reboot, TheWrap has learned.

Produced by Lionsgate Television in association with Allison Shearmur Productions, the three-hour TV movie will feature “Scream Queens” star Abigail Breslin and newcomer Colt Prattes.

Sagal will play Vivian Pressman, Kellerman’s “bungalow bunny,” a former beauty queen who likes to seduce younger male staff members like Johnny (Prattes). Recently divorced and fabulously wealthy, Vivian introduces Marjorie to the freedoms of being single, causing her to question her own marriage. Vivian isn’t used to being rejected, so when Johnny calls things off to be with Baby (Breslin), she takes matters into her own hands.

“The Empire Strikes Back” star Billy Dee Williams, “Mysteries of Laura” star Debra Messing, Sarah Hyland of “Modern Family” and former Pussycat Dolls frontwoman Nicole Scherzinger will co-star.

The remake is executive produced by Allison Shearmur and Eleanor Bergstein, who wrote the screenplay for the original movie, with music from Adam Anders and Peer Astrom. Judy Cairo will also serve as producer.

Sagal, coming off of Kurt Sutter‘s “Sons of Anarchy” follow-up, FX’s “The Bastard Executioner,” is represented by WME and B&B Management.
