Kanye West wants Apple to buy music streaming service Tidal from Jay Z as soon as possible.

In true West fashion, the rapper took to Twitter to vent about the “Apple Tidal beef,” which he believes is harming his industry, or as he put it, “f—ing up the music game.”

“Let the kids have the music,” West tweeted. “Apple give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve.

The Wall Street Journal reported last month that Apple is in talks to purchase Tidal — although, it may not necessarily result in a deal. The tech giant wants to use Tidal’s strong ties to artists to grow its Apple Music service.

Tidal has already been through three CEOs since Jay Z bought the company, which he co-owns with a number of other major artists, including West. Other artists with a stake in the company include Beyonce, Calvin Harris, Chris Martin, Daft Punk, Deadmau5, Jack White, Jason Aldean, J. Cole, Madonna, Nicki Minaj, Rihanna, Usher and Arcade Fire’s Win Butler and Regine Chassagne.
