Justin Bieber Replaces Mr. Feeny as Voice of ‘Knight Rider’ Car in David Hasselhoff Comedy (Video)

“He gets a bad rap,” Hasselhoff says of his famous co-star

David Hasselhoff Knight Rider KITT

William Daniels, the actor who played beloved “Boy Meets World” teacher Mr. Feeny, has been replaced by Justin Bieber as the voice of “Knight Rider” smart car KITT.

Don’t freak out fans: Bieber is only voicing the Pontiac Firebird Trans AM in an upcoming feature-length comedy starring Davd Hasselhoff, not any kind of official reboot of the ’80s television series.

“He called me and asked me for a favor and I called him back and said, ‘Can you do me a favor?’ and he said, ‘Yes,’” Hasselhoff told Yahoo’s “Insider” during an on-set interview (above). “I did his favor first because I love the Bieb. I think he’s a cool kid and he gets a bad rap. He’s a good guy and I like his music, I’ve known him for five years.”

The comedy, listed as “Untitled Celebrity Death Pool” and “Killing Hasselhoff” on IMDb, also stars Ken Jeong (“The Hangover”), comedian Jim Jefferies (“Legit”) and Hulk Hogan (“Suburban Commando”).

“Justin couldn’t have been more kind or accommodating,” Jeong said. “He was just so generous with his time, and nailed the scene.”

“Killing Hasselhoff,” directed by Darren Grant (“Diary of a Mad Black Woman”), follows Jeong as a nightclub owner who tries to win a celebrity death pool by hiring a hit man to kill Hasselhoff.

The comedy is currently in production in Los Angeles. No release date has been announced.
