Joseph Gordon-Levitt — is there anything he can’t do?
The “Snowden” star recently took to a subway station and showed off his drumming skills, the results of which were inevitably captured on video.
His performance was pretty hilarious, and not just because Gordon-Levitt ain’t all that on the traps and didn’t havce much of an impact on his fellow travelers.
The actor laid down the beat in support of Everyday, Spectacular, a collaborative project between the actor’s HitRECord and LG that encourages performers of all stripes to show off their craft in an everyday setting.
“I asked you guys to play music in public,” the actor wrote in a Facebook post containing the video. “For my part I played drums in a subway.”
Gordon-Levitt’s performance didn’t seem to make too much of a splash among the commuters, though his appearance did impress one subway rider.
“You look like Pee-Wee Herman,” the commuter told him.
Which really is unfair — Herman is known for public skin-pounding of an entirely different variety.
At any rate, watch JGL go at it in the video below.
