Jessica Chastain Is the ‘Poker Princess’ in Aaron Sorkin’s ‘Molly’s Game’ Trailer (Video)

Sorkin’s directorial debut also stars Idris Elba and Michael Cera

The stakes are high for Jessica Chastain in the first trailer for Aaron Sorkin’s directorial debut, “Molly’s Game.”

In the trailer, we meet Molly Bloom, a former skier who found herself running the world’s biggest underground poker game at a young age. Bloom catered to Hollywood’s elite, which included hordes of famous actors and directors, as well as mobsters and business moguls.

“First buy in: $250,000,” she tells her famous players in the trailer.

However, she was eventually caught and investigated by the FBI. She sets out to prove that she’s not the kind of woman the media has decided to portray with help from her attorney, played by Idris Elba.

Based on a true story, Sorkin both wrote and directed the film about the so-called “Poker Princess.”

Michael Cera and Kevin Costner also star. The film is hitting theaters on November 22 after a world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival.
