Jerry Bruckheimer Television has signed a three-year overall deal with CBS Television Studios, TheWrap has learned.
Bruckheimer’s company previously produced “CSI” and its spinoffs “CSI: Miami,” “CSI: New York” and “CSI: Cyber” with CBS TV Studios, as well as last season’s Bill Paxton-led “Training Day.”
The company, led by CEO Jonathan Littman, previously had a 15-year-long relationship with Warner Bros. Television, but left the studio last year and attempted to secure independent financing. The new deal with CBS marks a return to the traditional studio system.
Bruckheimer TV’s current slate includes Fox’s “Lucifer” and the CBS reality series “The Amazing Race,” as well as a Fox development deal for “Atlanta’s Most Wanted,” starring the rapper Tip “T.I.” Harris.
