Jennifer Lopez looks to be loving her latest TV role.

The singer/actress/host posted a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of “Shades of Blue” on Thursday to celebrate the first day of filming the cop series.

“Day one of #ShadesOfBlueNBC wrapped!!! #ComingSoon #Early2016 #StayTuned,” Lopez wrote on her Instagram page, after she snapped a photo with the cast and crew.

The drama, which got a 13-episode, straight-to-series order from NBC last year, tells the story of a single mom (Harlee McCord played by Lopez) who works undercover for the FBI on an anti-corruption task force unit.

Part of a close-knit team known for its conviction record, Harlee has become compromised by her colleagues — all of whom also pitch in to help her raise her daughter — and finds herself faced with the moral dilemma of working against her cop brothers in order to redeem herself.

“Shades of Blue” also stars Drea de Matteo, Ray Liotta, Hampton Fluker, Santino Fontana, Sarah Jeffery, Warren Kole and Vincent Laresca.

The series is written by Adi Hasak (“3 Days to Kill,” “From Paris with Love”), who executive produces with Ryan Seacrest, Nina Wass, Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Benny Medina (J.Lo’s longtime manager).

“Shades of Blue” marks the “American Idol” host’s return to TV and allows her to continue showing off her acting skills following the success of movie thriller “The Boy Next Door.”
