Jimmy Kimmel will hang out with some pretty heavy hitters during his upcoming field trip to Brooklyn, New York.
Jay Z, Bill Murray, Michael J. Fox, Bradley Cooper, American Ballet Theater Principal Ballerina Misty Copeland and Howard Stern will guest on the road version of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” next month. Additional guests will be unveiled soon.
Five original episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” will broadcast from Brooklyn Academy of Music’s Howard Gilman Opera House. The week of shows — in Kimmel’s old hometown — kicks off on Monday, Oct. 19.
With Stephen Colbert joining the late-night party and Jimmy Fallon generally continuing his time slot domination, Kimmel has been searching for new stunts to boost ratings. This week, he’s had A-list guests read off some “Mean Tweets” — one of Kimmel’s most popular recurring segments — live on the show.
This excursion will mark the ABC show’s second trip to Brooklyn; the Kimmel show last visited the city in 2013.
