Jason Momoa Is a Blind Warrior in First Trailer for Apple TV+ Drama ‘See’ (Video)

Series will debut on streaming service Nov. 1

Apple has released the trailer for “See,” its upcoming Jason Momoa-led drama.

“See” takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived, emerged blind. Momoa stars as Baba Voss — the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see — who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed. Alfre Woodard stars as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader.

“See” also features an internationally acclaimed cast, including Yadira Guevara-Prip, Sylvia Hoeks, Nesta Cooper, Archie Madekwe, Christian Camargo, Hera Hilmar and Marilee Talkington. The series features cast and crew who are blind or have low vision.

“See” is created by Stephen Knight and directed by Francis Lawrence. It is produced by Chernin Entertainment/Endeavor Content. Francis Lawrence, Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping, Kristen Campo, and Jon Steinberg serve as executive producers.

“See” will be one of the debut series on Apple TV+, the upcoming streaming service from the tech giant, when it launches on Nov. 1. The service will cost $4.99 a month. Apple CEO Tim Cook added that those who buy a new Mac, iPhone or iPad will get Apple TV+ free for one year.

Along with “See,” other scripted original series that Apple TV+ will launch with include “Morning Show,” “For All Mankind” and “Dickinson.”
