James Woods says Amber Tamblyn is lying about that whole pick-up attempt thing when she was just 16.
Interjecting herself into a roundabout Twitter spat between Woods and Armie Hammer, the “Girlfriend’s Day” actress claimed the elder actor “tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once,” adding, “He wanted to take us to Vegas.”
The since-denied accusation gets creepier from there. Here it is directly from Tamblyn:
James Woods tried to pick me and my friend up at a restaurant once. He wanted to take us to Vegas. "I'm 16" I said. "Even better" he said.

And here is Woods’ response to that — Tamblyn’s story is the “second” thing he’s referring to:
The first is illegal. The second is a lie. https://t.co/0jD1dvtInC

The “first” is a plot point in Hammer’s new film, “Call Me By Your Name,” which features an affair between a 17-year-old boy and his father’s 24-year-old male friend.
The conservative Woods’ feelings on that storyline is actually what started this whole thing. On Monday, he retweeted a criticism of that part of the movie, adding: “As they quietly chip away the last barriers of decency #NAMBLA”
Hammer fired right back with the tweet readers can see above Tamblyn’s: “Didn’t you date a 19 year old when you were 60…?”
That one was referring to Woods’ reported relationship with Kristen Bauguess, who was actually 20 at the time they began dating in 2013. Woods was 66 though.
The Hollywood Republican’s Twitter tirade continued last night, concluding with these “final” words:
Somebody told me the libs are yelping. Troll traffic is up. I don't pay any attention really. I like Armie Hammer as an actor though. A lot. https://t.co/okSCVKeAnj

Okay, now I want all my little trolls to put on their onesies and go to bed! Final word on this: I don't give a shit what liberals think.
