April Fools’ Day is upon us and that means another hilarious round of fake news stories.
Some — like Sony releasing a real “Ghostbusters” proton pack — we wish were real. Others — like Disney banning tattoos in their parks — just make the Internet angry. And you wouldn’t like the Internet when it’s angry.

Trader Joe’s Will Close Down by 2017
Yahoo News published a story claiming that Trader Joe’s would shut down all of its locations by next year. The news sent the Internet into a panic, at least among those who didn’t read the end of the story. “If this shocking news hits you as hard as it hit me, fear not. It’s merely April Fools’ time,” it read. “Now go celebrate being a fool with your favorite cheap wine.”
People looking to unleash their inner Superman need look no further than AirBnB today. The company released a gag ad (above) that promotes the renting of superhero lairs, or LairBnB.
Wonder Workshop wants man’s best friend to become man’s best IT person. The company released a video (above) that advertises a new product that will teach your dog how to write code like a pro.

Soon, U.S. soldiers could be whisking around the world in seconds — or maybe not. The U.S. Army got in on the April Fools’ fun by tweeting that they have successfully discovered teleportation.
Donald Trump has said a lot of controversial things, but he didn’t say he would take over the White House even if he loses the electoral college. The Election Law Blog posted fake quotes from a Trump rally in Wisconsin, quoting the candidate as saying, “[The] idea that I could get more votes than Hillary Clinton and still lose the presidency is ridiculous. I’ll only play fair if the Congress plays fair in choosing a president.”
