In a clip from Thursday’s Season 2 premiere of “How to Get Away With Murder,” Viola Davis‘ Annalise Keating comes face-to-face with series newcomer Famke Janssen.
The “X-Men” star joined the cast of ABC’s legal drama for the second season in a mysterious recurring role, and judging by Annalise’s reaction, she’s an unwelcome visitor from Annalise’s past.
“What you still don’t like surprises?” she says in the clip.
“How to Get Away With Murder” stars Davis as high-profile defense attorney and law professor Annalise Keating. Afred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber and Liza Weil also star.
Created by Pete Nowalk and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, the creator of “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” “How to Get Away With Murder” airs as the third hour of ABC’s popular #TGIT line-up.
