‘How to Get Away With Murder’ Casts Amy Okuda as New Character for Season 2

Actress will have recurring role when ABC drama returns next month

Amy Okuda is joining the cast of “How to Get Away With Murder” Season 2, TheWrap has confirmed.

Best known for her work on the web series “The Guild,” Okuda has previously guest starred on Amazon’s “The Man in the High Castle,” “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” No details about her character have been released.

She joins fellow newcomers “X-Men” alum Famke Janssen and “The Vampire Diaries” vet Kendrick Sampson, who will both make their first appearance during the Season 2 premiere on Sept. 24.

“How to Get Away With Murder” stars Viola Davis as high-profile defense attorney and law professor Annalise Keating. Afred Enoch, Jack Falahee, Aja Naomi King, Matt McGorry, Karla Souza, Charlie Weber and Liza Weil also star.

Created by Pete Nowalk and executive produced by Shonda Rhimes, the creator of “Scandal” and “Grey’s Anatomy,” the first season of “How to Get Away With Murder” opened with 14 million total viewers and a 3.8 among adults 18-49 and tied the best series debut of the season with Fox’s “Empire.”
