Actress Heather Locklear was arrested on Sunday night on accusations of misdemeanor battery on a police officer and emergency personnel charges, according to Ventura County Sheriff’s Office records.
“She kicked on of our deputies and was arrested,” Sergeant Eric Buschow told TheWrap. “She was extremely intoxicated and uncooperative. While an EMT was trying to evaluate her condition before being taken to jail, she also kicked the EMT. Nobody was injured, and she was taken to a local hospital for evaluation prior to being booked into jail. She was booked on two counts of battery on emergency personnel. She is in the process of posting bail.”
According to the authorities’ records, the “Melrose Place” star was arrested around 11:30 p.m. Locklear is currently being held on $20,000 bail at the Ventura County Main Jail but is listed as eligible for release. The records show she is set to appear in the Ventura County Superior Court on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m.
A representative for Locklear did not immediately respond to the TheWrap’s request for comment.
In March, Locklear was charged with four counts of misdemeanor battery on an officer or emergency personnel and with a single count of resisting or obstructing an officer, also a felony. She was initially charged with one count of battery on her boyfriend, a felony, and three counts of battery of emergency personnel, which are misdemeanors.
The actress was also arrested in 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence, and she and her ex-boyfriend Jack Wagner were ordered to appear in court after a reportedly violent fight in 2011.
Locklear’s credits include “Melrose Place,” “The Perfect Man,” “Spin City,” “Too Close to Home” and “Scary Movie 5.”
