Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop Series on Netflix Does Drugs, Exorcisms and Orgasms in Trailer (Video)

Paltrow wants to “milk the s—” out of life

Gwyneth Paltrow’s “The Goop Lab” is coming to Netflix, and the series finds the CEO testing out some pretty wacky wellness practices, from finding your orgasm to experimenting psychedelics and psychic mediums.

“We’re here one time, one life. How can we really milk the s— out of this?” Paltrow asks in the trailer, which you can watch above.

The “Iron Man” actress later ponders, “Should I be scared?” while settling in for some sort of therapy session in a hair net and a bath robe.

The six-episode series is described as “guiding the deeply inquisitive viewer in an exploration of boundary-pushing wellness topics,” which also include cold therapy, anti-aging, and energy healing. Your guess is as good as ours as to what those things entail.

The series will consist of half-hour episodes hosted by Paltrow, chief content officer Elise Loehnen and Goop’s editors.

Paltrow has been the CEO of Goop since its founding in 2008. The “modern lifestyle brand” is known for selling bizarre products like jade yoni eggs, which lead to a $145,000 lawsuit, as well as other strange things like sex dust, a vaginal steamer, a condom dispenser, $125,000 golden dumbbells, and something called “Psychic Vampire Repellent.”

“The Goop Lab” premieres on Netflix January 24, 2020.
