Grant Gustin’s ‘The Flash’ Season 2 Suit Revealed (Photo)

New costume for DC superhero unveiled ahead of fall premiere

“The Flash” is getting a bit of a makeover when The CW superhero drama returns for its sophomore season in October.

In a new photo (below), Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen is seen sporting a new suit after the events of the Season 1 finale, which saw him attempt the impossible – using his super speed to reverse the effects of a Singularity which threatened to suck up Central City, and maybe reality itself.

As revealed at San Diego Comic-Con, The Flash’s fellow DC superhero Oliver Queen, aka Arrow, is also getting a new suit, one with more dramatic differences from his current costume.

“The Flash” has already made some big casting additions to its new season, introducing Teddy Sears to play Jay Garrick, the comic book character who first wore the moniker of The Flash and former WWE Superstar Adam “The Edge” Copeland as villain Atom-Smasher, among others.

“The Flash” returns on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
