A Republican communications staffer blasted President Obama’s two daughters, Sasha and Malia, for their clothing and facial expressions during the president’s pardoning of the turkey ceremony Thursday.
In a Facebook post since deleted, Elizabeth Lauten, who is communications director for Congressman Fincher, took issue with the president’s teenage daughters.
Predictably, this stirred social media reaction.

@YeshaCallahan @DCGopGirl @RepFincherTN08 I wonder what she said about Bush’s drunk teenage daughters? pic.twitter.com/PJWnrulrV3

Under heavy fire, Lauten posted an apology, which has since been deleted.
We will monitor whether Ms. Lauten is still employed on Capitol Hill Monday.
