The year is off to a good start for Christian Slater, who just won his biggest Hollywood honor since he began his career four decades ago.
The “Mr. Robot” star took home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a TV Series on Sunday, beating out Alan Cumming (“The Good Wife”), Damian Lewis (“Wolf Hall”), Ben Mendelsohn (“Bloodline”) and Tobias Menzies (“Outlander”).
“I couldn’t be more grateful,” Slater said during his acceptance speech. “Thank you, Hollywood, for letting me do what I love to do for the last four decades.”
