“Girl Meets World” heads to high school in Season 3, and Riley and friends are about to meet some new faces.
Luke Benward, Ashley Argota and Claudia Lee have been cast in guest-starring roles, presumably as upperclassmen who come across incoming freshmen Riley (Rowan Blanchard), Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Lucas (Peyton Meyer) and Farkle (Corey Fogelmanis) at their new school.
Production on Season 3 of the sequel to the ’90s hit sitcom “Boy Meets World” — which also starred Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as childhood sweethearts Cory and Topanga — is now underway.
The series is a production of It’s a Laugh Productions, Inc. and Michael Jacobs Productions.
Benward is a Disney Channel regular, having recurred on the network’s “Good Luck Charlie” and starred in the channel’s original movie “Cloud 9.” He is represented by CESD and Management 360.
Argota is known for her roles on Nickelodeon’s “True Jackson VP” and is repped by Abrams Artists. Lee was a regular on The CW’s “Hart of Dixie” and is repped by Paradigm.
The third season of “Girl Meets World” will premiere on the Disney Channel in spring 2016.
