George Lopez Leads Audience in Anti-Donald Trump Chant: ‘F— That Puto’ (Video)

“This country is better with Latinos in it,” the former sitcom star says

Donald Trump may be leading the polls among the GOP presidential candidates, but he’s still a lousy option in the eyes of many Latino voters, and comedian George Lopez let his fans vent their frustration at a show in Phoenix over the weekend.

“F— that puto,” the crowd chanted when Lopez shouted, “Donald Trump!”

Backlash against Trump came immediately after he announced his presidential candidacy, because he generalized Mexican immigrants who crossed the border illegally as “rapists” in the same speech.

Although he has lost a number of business deals as a result of his controversial statements, the billionaire real estate mogul has yet to apologize and has managed to move ahead of his political opponents in a number of polls after bashing them, too.

The crowd’s use of the derogatory Spanish insult — a term which can be associated with homophobia or used to describe a male prostitute — came after the “Saint George” star proclaimed, “This country is better with Latinos in it!”

Lopez was recently reported to be in line to take Trump’s old job as the host of NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” however TheWrap learned shortly after that there was “no truth” to the report.

Watch the video above, and then watch a Bloomberg panel discuss, below, on whether Trump is helping or hurting his political party.
