Prepare to get funked up like you haven’t been in a long time.
Legendary funk musician George Clinton is preparing to release a new album, his first since 2008’s “George Clinton and His Gangsters of Love.”
The announcement was made Tuesday by record label Brainfeeder.
“Yes, the word is out! @George_Clinton will release a new album on Brainfeeder,” the label tweeted.
“Details coming soon…,” the label vowed.
The 75-year-old musician, best known as the man behind the bands Parliament and Funkadelic, has a history with Brainfeeder. Last year, he was featured on “The Lavishments of Light Looking” by WOKE, a collaboration between label founder Flying Lotus, bassist Thundercat and others.
