‘Game of Thrones’ Star Kit Harington Hints Again That Jon Snow Isn’t Really Dead

“Deader than dead” has never seemed more tenuous

By now, can we just safely assume “Game of Thrones’” beloved bastard Jon Snow isn’t really dead?

Despite (spoiler alert) being stabbed repeatedly by traitorous brothers of the Nights’ Watch and left for dead in the Season 5 finale, and despite repeated assertions from showrunners that he’s “deader than dead,” speculation that he will return has remained rampant for months.

Now, Jon Snow himself, actor Kit Harington, has added more fuel to the fire.

In an interview with The Independent, Harington hinted that he’s not quite done with “Game of Thrones” just yet.

“Let’s just say that ‘Game of Thrones’ will remain a part of my life for a while, I’ll probably be in my 30s when it’s over,” he said.

The British paper also noted that since Harington is 28 years old at the moment, it would take several more seasons on the show for him to reach his 30s.

The comment itself is vague enough, but Harington has also been spotted in and around filming locations for Season 6.

Plus, “deader than dead” doesn’t mean quite as much as it normally would on a show where magic and resurrection spells are a very real thing.

“Game of Thrones” has been renewed for two more seasons, and HBO boss Michael Lombardo has said it will likely end after Season 8.
