“Game of Thrones” may be ending after Season 8, but fans of the hit show will soon be able to experience all seven kingdoms next year at an immersive live concert tour.
Featuring original music by “GoT” composer Ramin Djawadi, the concert will blend video imagery with a full orchestra and choir to explore the various realms within Westeros and Essos.
“For seven years, Ramin has been blowing our mind with his music’s force, subtlety, and endless inventiveness,” “Game of Thrones” creators and executive producers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said in a statement. “The GoT Concert Experience will be unique in the history of concert tours, an eye-popping, ear-splitting, phantasmagoric blend of the show’s visuals and Ramin’s powerful compositions. We are more excited for it than anyone.”
The tour will start on Feb. 15, 2017, in Kansas City, Missouri, and appear in 28 different cities at major venues, including New York’s Madison Square Garden and Los Angeles’ Forum. Other stops include Montreal, Boston, Houston, Las Vegas, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.
Tickets for the tour, which is being produced and promoted by Live Nation in partnership with HBO Global Licensing, will be on sale this Saturday on Live Nation.
