‘Game of Thrones’ Blooper Reel Shows Peter Dinklage Trying to Say ‘Benevolent’ (Video)

HBO take outs also feature Emilia Clarke getting tongue-tied while speaking Dothraki

Maybe Peter Dinklage was drinking real wine while playing Tyrion, because it seems he has trouble saying the word “benevolent.”

During their panel at San Diego Comic-Con, the team behind “Game of Thrones” revealed a special blooper reel from this past season.

Highlights from the take outs include Emilia Clarke mangling the Dothraki language while trying to deliver Daenerys’ rallying speech from Drogon’s back. The Hound actor Rory McCann‘s return to the series was also a little rough, as he struggled to chop wood while filming his return episode with Ian McShane.

But it’s Dinklage who took center stage in the bloopers, as he continued to flub his lines during a scene between Tyrion, Missandei and Grey Worm. Apparently fantasy names like Astapor and Yunkai are a piece of cake for The Imp’s actor, but the word “benevolent” is a bit of a problem.

Pre-production on Season 7 of “Game of Thrones” has already begun. The season’s release is expected to be delayed until next summer, as showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff are waiting until winter to start filming. Season 6 earned acclaim and record-setting ratings, along with 23 Emmy nominations.
