Fox’s Neil Cavuto is not thrilled with Caitlyn Jenner’s gender transition.
Showing the just-released Vanity Fair cover on screen, the Fox Business News host asked reporter Dagen McDowell, “What the hell is going on?!”
McDowell did her best to defend Jenner from Cavuto’s snarky comments, but she continued to use male pronouns to describe the post-transition Olympian and even suggested that Jenner was trying to one-up step-daughter Kim Kardashian, who announced she was pregnant with baby No. 2 over the weekend. She also called Jenner’s cover outfit “very Playboy bunny-esque.”
“Look at the time,” Cavuto said, eager to move on to another topic. He then introduced contributor “Charlene Payne, or shall I say Charles Payne?”
Cavuto’s managed to squeeze in one more dig. After Payne says that the news reflects “the era that we’re living in,” the host replies, “Rome, final days. But that’s fine.”
