Fox has officially ordered the pilot for the Oscar winners Nat Faxon and Jim Rash-directed comedy, “Fatrick.”
The “Way, Way Back” duo are not the only big comedy names on board with the project: “Fatrick” is written by Nahnatchka Khan (“Don’t Trust the B— in Apt 23”) and Corey Nickerson.

The 20th Century Fox Television series follows Patrick, a 30-something man and former fat kid, who must face the damages and insecurities caused by years of being Fatrick: a chubby little kid just trying to survive.
The show will live in the present, but be complimented by flashbacks. In August, Fox had made a pilot production commitment to the project.
“Fatrick” will mark the TV directing debut for Faxon and Rash, who won the 2012 Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
