President Trump attacked Fox News Channel on Sunday for the network’s polling again, but FNC is standing by its unit.

When a reporter brought up “several recent polls” that show Americans in favor of impeachment, the president said: “The CNN polls are fake. The Fox polls have always been lousy. I tell them they ought to get themselves a new pollster, but the real polls — if you look at the polls that came out this morning — people don’t want anything to do with impeachment. It’s a phony scam. It’s a hoax.”

A few weeks ago, Trump said that the team who does the polls at Fox News “suck.”

Asked Monday morning if the network is standing by pollsters, a representative referred TheWrap to a previously-issued statement saying, “Our polling unit has long been held in high regard for being a nonpartisan source of research.”

The latest Fox News poll shows 49% of Americans want the president impeached and removed from office, which is down from the 51% who wanted him impeached and removed in October.

Only 4% say they want him impeached and not removed, which has not changed since the last round. 41% say they don’t want him impeached, which is up from 40%.
