It’s no secret that Donald Trump Jr. and Kimberly Guilfoyle are dating, but new questions are being raised about how their romance will influence coverage of President Trump on Fox News — where Guilfoyle serves as a host of “The Five.”

“Look, They seem to be a cute couple and I love a good love story. But doesn’t this radically affect her day job?” CNN media reporter Brian Stelter said on Sunday’s episode of “Reliable Sources.”

“How can any of her colleagues criticize Trump when the president’s son’s girlfriend is sitting right there at the table? Doesn’t this complicate the entire networks coverage of the Trump family?” he added.

Reps for Fox did not immediately respond to request for comment.

Though the relationship had been rumored for months, Fox News’ media reporter Howard Kurtz confirmed the news on an episode of his show last month.

Long before Kurtz’s confirmation, Instagram and Twitter posts from the two showed that they vacationed together in Montana and the pair spent Fourth of July at the White House. Guilfoyle even got some face time with President Trump, an image which was also documented online.

The president’s oldest son has been single after news emerged that he would divorce the his longtime wife and mother of his five children, Vanessa in March. Before her relationship with Trump Jr, Guilfoyle was linked with former White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci.
