On Tuesday, Fox News senior political analyst and former anchor Brit Hume cleared up a question that few had ever raised, denying that he has ever fantasized about President Donald Trump’s penis.
“You may be having fantasies about Trump’s penis, but I can assure you I am not” he tweeted Tuesday evening, responding to a “Daily Show” producer’s mocking tweet. “You’ll need to look elsewhere.”
Hume’s tweet was swiftly deleted, but — as Sean Hannity can tell you — the screenshots live forever.

A spokesperson for Fox News did not immediately respond to request for comment.
It all began with a tweet from New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, who noted that an earlier physical exam placed President Donald Trump at 6-foot-2 and not 6-foot-3, as his physician, Dr Ronny Jackson, reported on Tuesday.
“Reminder that earlier physicals decades ago put Trump height at 6’2,” she said. “The 6’3″ height makes a difference on his BMI from overweight to obese.”

Hume saw the tweet — and wasn’t having it.
“Oh for Pete’s sake,” he said in a quote tweet. “BTW, I’m the same height and am a bit overweight at 190. He looks to me about 50 pounds heavier than I am,” he added in subsequent reply to another Twitter user.

Because he was listed as an inch shorter earlier. Please. BTW, I’m the same height and am a bit overweight at 190. He looks to me about 50 pounds heavier than I am.

That led “Daily Show” producer Matt Negrin to a quote tweet of his own, expressing his hope that Hume’s defense of the president might signal a more phallic direction for future Fox News coverage of the president.
“Oh man we are closer than ever to Fox News personalities fulfilling my fantasy of aggressively defending the size of Trump’s penis, please don’t stop,” tweeted Negrin.

… AND THAT — is what led Hume to his denial that he had any interest whatsoever in Donald Trump’s penis.
Good morning!
