“Ballers” actress Arielle Kebbel is set to play Christian Grey’s architect in “Fifty Shades Freed,” the franchise finale that is shooting back-to-back with “Fifty Shades Darker,” TheWrap has learned.
James Foley is directing the “Fifty Shades” sequels for Universal Pictures and Focus Features. Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti are producing with Marcus Viscidi and author E.L. James, whose husband, Niall Leonard, adapted both books.
The sequels find Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan reprising their respective roles as Anastasia Steele and Grey.
They’ll be joined by returning co-stars Luke Grimes, Eloise Mumford and Max Martini, as well as franchise newcomer Kim Basinger.
Kebbel has been cast as Gia Matteo, who is tasked with designing Christian and Ana’s love nest.
“Fifty Shades Freed” whips into theaters on Feb. 9, 2018 — one year after “Fifty Shades Darker” arrives on Feb. 10, 2017.
Kebbel is a former model who co-starred in “Think Like a Man” and has appeared on both “The League” and “The Grinder.” She’s represented by Paradigm and Principal Entertainment LA.
