Universal Pictures announced the release dates for the next installments of the “Fast & Furious” franchise late Tuesday night.
The studio will release the ninth chapter in the saga on April 19, 2019, and the tenth chapter on April 2, 2021.
Star Vin Diesel also shared the news with his fans on Instagram, adding that chapter eight will hit theaters April 14, 2017.

“Furious 7,” featuring the late Paul Walker, was a huge box office hit for Universal last year, boasting a worldwide gross of $1,516,045,911, according to Box Office Mojo.
The action film also starred Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham, and it was directed by James Wan.
