Whatever the musical numbers when Ellen DeGeneres hosts the Oscars next month, she’s heading into the ceremony on a high note.
DeGeneres’ daytime talk show “Ellen” enjoyed a ratings milestone during the week ending Feb. 2, grabbing its best-ever weekly household rating and delivering its most-watched week.

“Ellen” ticked up 6 percent from the previous week for a 3.3 household rating, a series best, and averaged nearly 4.6 million total viewers for the week, also a high for the daytime talk show.
For the season so far, “Ellen” ranks first in the talk show genre in the women 18-49, women 25-54, and women and men 25-54 demographics.
