In a wide-ranging interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes” on Sunday, Donald Trump previewed what his his plan to deport undocumented immigrants would look like.
“We’re rounding them up in a very humane way; in a very nice way, and they’re going to be happy,” he said.
When Pelley pressed the GOP frontrunner on how he’s going to humanely deport over 11 million immigrants, Trump had a simple answer.
“It’s called management,” he said, adding that his plan might not sound nice, but you can’t always be so nice.
In classic Trump fashion, the real estate mogul compared himself to supermodels.
“I’m on a lot of covers… I think maybe more than almost any supermodel. I think more than any supermodel. But in a way, that’s a sign of respect,” he said.
Trump will release his tax plan this week; he hinted at big breaks for middle-class families and a hike for very wealthy hedge fund managers.
