Donald Trump Supporter Tells Univision Anchor Jorge Ramos to ‘Get Out of My Country’ (Video)

Journalist was thrown out of campaign press conference for asking a question out of turn

A Donald Trump supporter had strong words for Univision’s Jorge Ramos at a campaign press conference on Tuesday: “Get out of my country.”

The anchor was kicked out of the press conference after he attempted to ask a question without being called on. The Spanish-language news station later released the footage of what took place in the hallway before Ramos was allowed back in.

The video shows a Trump supporter approaching Ramos and criticizing him for his actions. “That was very rude. This is not about you,” he says. “Get out of my country. Get out.”

Ramos simply responds that he is also a U.S. citizen, to which the man says, “Well, whatever. No. Univision, no.”

The controversy began when the popular anchor of the Spanish-language network attempted to ask Trump a question, to which the candidate responded, “You haven’t been called.” He then told Ramos, “Go back to Univision!”

Shortly after being removed from the room, Ramos was allowed to return, engaging in a heated on-camera exchange with Trump over his proposal to expel undocumented immigrants and to deny U.S. citizenship to children born in the country to non-citizens.

“I have a bigger heart than you do,” Trump told Ramos. “We’re going to do it in a very humane fashion… We’re going to start with is the gangs, and the real bad ones… Do you agree with that or do you think everyone is just perfect? Do you agree that we have tremendous crime?”
