After a CNN segment said Donald Trump was “showing signs tonight of being a sore winner,” the president-elect took to Twitter to prove the network right.
Trump also called out reporter Jeff Zeleny for making the “sore winner” remark on “AC360.”
The CNN reporter also said that Trump’s claims of voter fraud were “blatant and baseless.”
Needless to say, that didn’t sit well with the real estate mogul.
“@HighonHillcrest: @jeffzeleny what PROOF do u have DonaldTrump did not suffer from millions of FRAUD votes? Journalist? Do your job! @CNN” he retweeted.
After retweeting a number of other social media posts supporting him and bashing Zeleny, he wrote a direct message to CNN.
“CNN is so embarrassed by their total (100%) support of Hillary Clinton, and yet her loss in a landslide, that they don’t know what to do,” Trump said.
Trump has repeatedly called out members of the news media, especially the New York Times, since winning the presidency. Critics have observed that he has not be as vigilant in calling out racists who have committed acts of bigotry in his name as he has been in calling out reporters and the cast of “Hamilton.”
Trump has also been accused of picking fights on Twitter to distract people from stories that make him look bad. His criticisms of the “Hamilton” cast, for example, came just after he settled a fraud lawsuit against his Trump University for $25 million.

"@FiIibuster: @jeffzeleny Pathetic – you have no sufficient evidence that Donald Trump did not suffer from voter fraud, shame! Bad reporter.

"@JoeBowman12: @jeffzeleny just another generic CNN part time wannabe journalist !" @CNN still doesn't get it. They will never learn!
