Donald Trump decided to cancel his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” hours before taping the show on Tuesday.
Kimmel made the announcement on Howard Stern’s radio show this morning. Trump was set to appear on the late-night host’s show tonight after Jay Z, but the GOP presidential candidate has to reschedule, instead.
“Due to a political obligation, Mr. Trump is rescheduling his appearance and looks forward to being on the show in the next few weeks,” a Trump spokesperson told CNN.
The aspiring politician has already made appearances on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” and “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”
Kimmel had told CNN on Monday that Trump’s appearance would not be a traditional interview.
“I’m not interviewing him… It will be in studio, it’ll be live, and it’ll all make perfect sense when you see it,” he had said.
ABC has not yet responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
