Since Superman and Batman are about to team up on the big screen it only makes sense that Django of “Django Unchained” cross over with Zorro of “Zorro!” in a new graphic novel.
Dynamite Entertainment, which is releasing “Django/Zorro” later this year with DC Entertainment, is billing the project as a sequel to the movie.
“Django” writer-director Quentin Tarantino is teaming up with “Grendel” creator Matt Wagner to create the universe for the novel. “Django/Zorro” will be edited by Reggie Hudlin, who served as producer of the original incarnation of”Django Unchained.” The artist for the graphic novel has yet to be announced.

The companies said this is the first ever sequel to a Tarantino film.
Tarantino said that reading Wagner’s Zorro stories “convinced me what a good idea it was to join these two icons together,” adding, “And the story idea we came up with is thrilling, and I think will be an exciting new chapter for both characters.”
