There has been talk of a “Deadpool” movie since Ryan Reynolds got his head chopped off at the end of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine,” but 20th Century Fox has yet to give the greenlight to the “X-Men” spinoff. Leaked pre-production footage, however, shows the studio has been given a preview of what the film would look and sound like.
The CGI-rendered scene features the titular Marvel hero diving into action while Reynold’s voice cracks jokes along the way.

Comic book artist Rob Liefeld, who created the character with writer Fabian Nicieza in 1991, described the footage at a Las Vegas Comic-Con panel in 2013, and the video (above) matches his description beat for beat.

Reynolds has said he hopes the movie gets made “eventually,” but admits it is “a risky property” due to its R rating, as well as it’s unique sense of humor, which the actor described as “very meta.”
