CW Vet Kevin Levy Promoted to Program Planning and Scheduling SVP

Levy, who has been with the network since its founding, reports to president Mark Pedowitz

The CW has promoted network veteran Kevin Levy to senior vice president of program planning and scheduling. In the elevated role, Levy will continue to report to network president Mark Pedowitz.

Levy is responsible for the strategic planning and scheduling of all programming across The CW’s schedule. He is also manages the acquisitions of movies and specials.

“Kevin has been with The CW from the beginning, and his experience and expertise have been invaluable, especially as we add more original programming to our schedule throughout the year,” said Pedowitz in a statement. “The network is fortunate to have his insight, and I’m very happy to announce his promotion. It’s well-deserved.”

A 15-year scheduling veteran, Levy has served as program planning and scheduling vice president since 2007. He joined The CW at its launch a year earlier in 2006 in the role of director. He transitioned UPN, where he started his TV career in 1998, to The CW.

He holds a BA in English literature and creative writing from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
