Courtney Love posted a heartbreaking message about her late husband Kurt Cobain over the weekend, expressing her sadness over his death, and her dismay over his decision to take his own life.
Days after the 23rd birthday of their daughter on August 18, Frances Bean Cobain, Hole singer Love posted a photo of her and Cobain in bed with their infant child on Facebook and Instagram.
“Makes me feel so sad. Our baby is all grown up now,” Love wrote in the caption for the photo. “Jesus Kurt look at her face, what on earth were you thinking..⁉⁉”
The caption ended with a more tempered message to Cobain.
God I miss you, we all miss you,” Love wrote.
Nirvana frontman Cobain was found dead a his Seattle home on April 8, 1994 of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, though various conspiracy theories over the ensuing two decades have suggested that there was foul play involved. He was 27 at the time of his death.
