Amazon has canceled the Christina Ricci-starring drama series after one season. The show, a fictional version of Zelda Fitzgerald’s life in the 1920s, debuted in January.
“Z” had previously been renewed for a second season, with writers already working on the new batch of scripts.
The show from Amazon Studios was created by Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin, and it is based on Therese Anne Fowler’s 2013 book, “Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitzgerald.”
The cast included David Hoflin and David Strathairn.
