Chris Pratt Says Tom Holland Knew the Plot of ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ Before He Did (Video)

Pratt first heard about the plot from his “Avengers” co-star

There’s nothing like learning the ending to your own movie from another superhero.

Chris Pratt got his first download on the “Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” plot from his “Avengers: Infinity War” co-star Tom Holland, Pratt shared in an interview with Sirius XM on Thursday.

While filming “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2”, Pratt aka Star-Lord ran into Holland aka Spidey, who was shooting “Spiderman: Homecoming” on the same lot. And Holland spilled what he knew after getting a “Jurassic World” download from director J.A. Bayona, with whom he had worked on the 2012 disaster drama film “The Impossible.”

“He told me the whole story, so I heard it right from Tom Holland first,” Pratt explained. As it turned out, Holland’s information was sound: “And then when I read the script, I was like, ‘Yeah, he wasn’t messing with me.”

“Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom” stars Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, reprising their roles as behavioral researcher Owen Grady and park operations manager Claire Deering. The movie takes place three years after the events of the previous film, and follows the characters’ efforts to rescue the remaining dinosaurs on the island before a volcanic eruption destroys it. The film has already grossed $151 million in overseas release, and is projected to rake in $130-140 million when it opens in the U.S.

The movie hits theaters stateside on June 22.
