While a crowded road trip with the strapping Hemsworth brothers might be the fantasy of many, the real life experience is apparently a nightmare.
Chris Hemsworth revealed what long car trips were like as a child with his actor brothers Liam and Luke.
“[A] seven or eight hour drive… that was just hell in the back with the brothers,” Hemsworth described in an exclusive clip to TheWrap from the DVD release of “Vacation.”
“You’re hungry, tired, or bored. There’s nothing fun about that,” he added. Given their family star status, travel is likely a lot more accommodating these days.
Hemsworth earned plenty of attention for his role as Leslie Mann‘s husband in “Vacation,” a sort of National Lampoon’s reboot with Ed Helms in the Chevy Chase chair.
The “Avengers” star was given a sizable underwear prosthetic that made waves when it was featured in a trailer for the summer film.
John Francis Daley and Jonathan M. Goldstein wrote and directed the comedy. The DVD is currently in stores.
