Calvin Harris is counting his blessings, after being injured in a car crash that forced him to cancel multiple shows.

The pop DJ took to Twitter late Thursday to apologize for the show cancellations and to share an update on his state of mind.

“Thank you so much for your messages and sorry to any disappointment I caused with the show cancellations,” Harris wrote late Thursday. “I’m feeling lucky and very grateful.”

Harris was briefly hospitalized after a car accident on May 20. According to his team, the collision occurred as he was en route to the airport. Harris suffered lacerations to his face and was taken to a local Los Angeles hospital, according to TMZ.

The accident caused Harris (real name: Adam Wiles) to cancel a performance last week at Omnia in Las Vegas. On Thursday, Harris’ team announced that he had also been forced to cancel more Las Vegas shows, at Hakkasan and Omnia, which had been scheduled for Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Harris’ team added that he “hopes to be back to his normal schedule soon.”
