Apparently, Brooke Burke-Charvet isn’t letting her split with “Dancing With the Stars” create any bad blood between herself and ABC.
Former “DWTS” co-host Burke-Charvet, who parted ways with the dance competition series after seven seasons, has booked a recurring role on ABC Family’s “Melissa & Joey,” starring Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence.

Brooke-Charvet, who’ll be replaced by Fox Sports reporter and fellow former “DWTS” contestant Erin Andrews when the competition returns for its 18th season in March, tweeted that she’d been eliminated from the show in late February, writing, “”weird day….Shocking pre-season elimination #DWTS…ME.”
Series executive producer Conrad Green confirmed Burke-Charvet’s departure in a statement, noting, “She’s been a wonderful part of the ‘Dancing with the Stars’ family since her triumphant win in season seven and will unquestionably be missed by our entire team. We’d like to thank Brooke for her years of great service.”
