A body was found at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., on Wednesday, according to news reports.

A call about a “possible suicide” came into the dispatch line at the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s office Wednesday morning, according to TMZ.  A local NBC station confirmed deputies were on the scene investigating a body, citing a sheriff office’s spokeswoman.

“After further investigation it appeared there was no foul play and no other individuals were involved,” Santa Clara County Sheriff spokesperson Andrea Urena told CNET in an email. “It will be up to the coroner determine the cause and manner of death.”

Apple didn’t immediately respond to TheWrap’s messages seeking comment.

Apple has faced more than a week of bad news. The gadget giant rescheduled its earnings report — originally planned for Monday — to occur a day later so employees could attend a memorial service for Bill Campbell, a longtime member of the company’s board. He died last week.

Tuesday, Apple reported its first quarterly sales decline in 13 years as cooling demand for its iPhone can’t keep up the company’s streak of hypergrowth, and it warned sales would slip in the current period.
