‘Black Jesus’ Star Andra Fuller to Play Sabers Owner’s Son on BET’s ‘The Game’ (Exclusive)

The actor is joining the scripted series’ upcoming eighth season in a recurring role

Has BET’s “The Game” found the heir-apparent to the Sabers football team?

TheWrap has learned that Andra Fuller has been cast in a recurring role as Sabers owner Roger Keith’s (Michael Beach) son.

Roger Keith, Jr. is described as handsome, quick-witted and smart, but able to get down and dirty if necessary. A Harvard MBA grad, he has a lot of swagger. But, he is driven to get out of his father’s shadow. Will he climb the Sabers’ corporate ladder or follow another calling?

Fuller is best known for playing closeted gay rap star, Kaldrick King, on the Canadian and CW series, “The L.A. Complex.” His performance of the multifaceted character earned him a nomination for Best Male Actor at the 2013 Canadian Screen Awards, Canada’s equivalent to our Emmys. Currently, he stars as Fish on Adult Swim’s Thursday night success, “Black Jesus.”

The Game” was renewed for an eighth season during April’s Upfront presentation to advertisers.
