“Beverly Hills, 90210” revival “BH90210” slipped once again in TV ratings, but “MasterChef” made up for that and Fox was able to win Wednesday among adults 18-49.
In total viewers, however, it was a different story. NBC and CBS were No. 1 and No. 2, respectively, by that Nielsen metric.
Fox was first in ratings with a 0.8 rating/4 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, but third in total viewers with an average of 2.6 million, according to preliminary numbers. “MasterChef” at 8 p.m. posted a 0.8/5 and 3.2 million viewers. At 9, “BH90210” had a 0.7/4 and 2 million viewers.
NBC was second in ratings with a 0.7/4 and first in viewers with 4.5 million. The “America’s Got Talent” results show at 8 landed a 1.1/6 and 7.9 million viewers. At 9, “Songland” got a 0.7/4 and 3.5 million viewers. “Hollywood Game Night” at 10 received a 0.4/2 and 2 million viewers.
CBS was third in ratings with a 0.6/3 and second in viewers with 3 million. “Big Brother” at 8 posted a 1.1/6 and 4.2 million viewers. Reruns followed.
ABC was fourth in ratings with a 0.5/3 and in viewers with 2.1 million, airing all repeats.
Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.1 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1 million.
The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1/1 and in viewers with 539,000. Sadly, those numbers were the result of two originals: At 8, “Bulletproof” settled for a 0.1/1 and 566,000 viewers. “Hypnotize Me” at 9 managed a 0.1/1 and 512,000 viewers.
