TV veterans James Callis (“Battlestar Galactica”), Anne Dudek (“Mad Men”), Michael Bowen (“Breaking Bad”) and Amiah Miller (“Clementine”) have joined Anvil Entertainment’s horror-thriller “House by the Lake,” which recently started production in Big Bear Lake, California.
Story follows the Morgans, a loving yet troubled family hoping to reconnect while on vacation. When their autistic 10-year-old daughter (Miller) begins to fixate on a mysterious friend who may or may not be real, she retreats further into her own world and family tensions rise to the surface.

Adam Gierasch (“Autopsy”) is directing from a script by Josh Burnell (“Boone: The Bounty Hunter”).
Mike De Trana (“Stomping Ground”) is producing through Anvil Entertainment along with Gary King (“In the Blood”) and Jace Anderson (“Mother of Tears”).

“I had a wonderful time working with Michael on ‘Autopsy’ and am looking forward to working with Anne and James. I’ve been a fan of their work for a long time,” said Gierasch, who worked with Danielle Aufiero and Amber Horn of Aufiero/Horn Casting (“Cheap Thrills”) to cast the film.
